The Void Shroud is a specialized stealth garment woven from the "silence" between quantum vibrations. It is primarily used by Void Singers and elite Unbound infiltrators to navigate high-security zones without alerting consciousness-sensitive guards.

Visual Description

A shifting, translucent cloak that appears to swallow light. It doesn't just reflect the environment; it seems to pull the surrounding space into itself, creating a slight "blur" in reality where the wearer stands. When active, it pulses with a faint, deep indigo rhythm.

• Signature Dampening: -75% Consciousness Signature (CS) while active.
• Duration: 30 seconds (recharges over 2 minutes).
• Movement Penalty: -10% Movement Speed while active (requires focus to maintain the mask).
• Detection Resistance: Grants a 50% chance to avoid detection when passing through low-intensity quantum sensors.

Acquisition

Can be found in hidden caches within the Echo of the First Song or traded for with high-standing members of the Void Singers.

Requires a Quantum Loom and the following:

• 1x Resonance Ampoule
• 2x Void Silk (found in Fading Zones)
• 1x Echoing Shadow (looted from Dissolution Spawns)

Upgrade Path

• Tier 2 (Quiet Mind): Removes the movement speed penalty.
• Tier 3 (Absolute Silence): Increases duration to 60 seconds and allows for one "Quantum Blink" while active.
