Overview

The Fading is the observable phenomenon of Dissolution spreading through the galaxy. It manifests as a literal loss of color, sound, and eventually, the existence of both matter and consciousness in affected areas.

History

First detected in the remote sectors of the Orion Arm, the Fading was initially dismissed as a rare quantum anomaly. It was only when The Harbinger appeared that the true scale of the threat was realized.

Design Notes
