Overview

The Consciousness Wars were a series of devastating conflicts that took place millions of years ago between ancient species. These wars were fought not over territory, but over the fundamental "frequency" of the Quantum Layer.

History

The wars began when a now-extinct species attempted to "lock" the quantum layer into a state that only they could access. This led to a galaxy-wide rebellion. The resulting combat caused permanent damage to the quantum fabric, leading to the creation of the first "Dead Zones."

Impact
