A brilliant polymath who abandoned a prestigious position at the Consciousness Academy, Aris is now obsessed with uncovering the secrets of the Architects. They believe that the physical universe is merely a "user interface" for a deeper, more complex quantum machine.

Appearance

Aris is usually seen wearing a silver-grey research coat covered in glowing holographic displays. They have a collection of "Focus Lenses" hovering around their head, which they use to analyze artifacts in multiple spectrums simultaneously. Their hair is perpetually disheveled, and they often forget to eat or sleep when a new discovery is made.

Personality

Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Aris views social niceties as an inefficient use of processing time. They are not unkind, but their mind is always three steps ahead in a theoretical proof. They have a deep respect for anyone who brings them new data, regardless of their background or faction.

Aris has actually found evidence that the "Dissolution" is not a natural decay, but a deliberate "garbage collection" process initiated by the Architects' remaining automated systems. They are terrified that their excavations might be accelerating this process.
