Overview

The Confluence is a neutral diplomatic station established after First Contact to facilitate communication between the various consciousness-wielding species of the galaxy. Located in space claimed by no single faction, it serves as a place where humans, Void Singers, Quantum Custodians, and others can meet as equals.

After Cosmic Convergence, The Confluence becomes the headquarters of the United Alliance, housing the Council of Minds and coordinating the response to The Fading.

Layout

The Confluence is designed to accommodate multiple species with vastly different needs and perceptions. Different sectors are optimized for different types of consciousness:

The Common Hall - A neutral zone where all species can interact. The environment shifts to accommodate whoever is present.

Custodian Pathways - Quantum shortcuts that allow the station's keepers to move instantly between any point.

The Council Chamber - Where the Council of Minds meets, designed to allow simultaneous participation by beings with radically different perceptions of reality.
